Built with students for Margent Farm, the pavilion showcases the corrugated hemp panels that are made by Margent Form itself. The design includes a few notable experiments. For the foundation, acetylated wooden piles rest on cement footings underground. The treated wood covers the topsoil and sticks out, protecting the rest of the stilted structure from getting wet. Hempcrete walls are left exposed under cantilevered daybeds and a large pitched roof. The overall shape shows some similarities with the Marika-Alderton House by Glenn Murcutt in Australia from 1990-1994.
